Trip Planning Ideas:

Groceries

We typically stock up on groceries on the way into town from the airport and then resupply as necessary locally.  It is also a pretty good idea to bring food items from home that you know you will want while in Mexico.  The grocery store will have nearly everything you need.

Stocking Up – Ask your taxi driver to take you to La Comer La Cascada in Zona Hotelera at 23405 San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico.  They will wait while you shop.  Your belongings are safe with the driver while you shop.  I tip $10 to $20 to the driver depending upon how long we shop.  La Comer is a Freddy’s on steroids.  They will have what you need.

Resupply – If we run low on provisions there are several options to resupply.  The easiest is to hit the market at PBSB resort.  This is a small market 1 mile from our property.  The options are limited, and pricing is about 50% over market for most items.  Expensive, but works in a pinch.

The better option is to hit the La Comer on Calle Miguel Hidalgo located 2.5 miles from our property.  Taxi fare from PBSB to La Comer is about $15 USD each way so you don’t want to make this a daily occurrence.
